Brian Parker While I don’t think it replaces Ummon in any way, it is an essential live companion to it.

And the concept of the recording is wild! If you look it up on YouTube, the entire performance is also on video. Really cool!

Rory MacKenzie OMG! This is assume! Listened to all their music all day at work today. Driving songs with little quirks. Just what I love. All good!

Michael Mueller Holy shit, this is an absolute beast of an album. SLIFT churn out a hurricanes of sound, a fact made all the more remarkable given they're a three-piece.

The songs are dynamic and powerful, and the vocals have a captivatingly corrosive edge. The production is metallic but not thin, and the playing is top-notch throughout.

But it's when the band hits top gear - usually about three quarters through each track - that this truly becomes stratospheric. Flat out, SLIFT are untouchable. Favorite track: Lion, Tigers and Bears.
